Purpose

Being one of Telstra Digital’s partners, and having successfully completed the ‘Home for Holidays’ campaign competition, IE Agency assisted in the execution of the 2013 Easter campaign on Facebook. The objectives were:

  • To create a competition page which resided in the 24×7 app.
  • The location within the app should facilitate user participation.
  • The main goal was to increase likes and usability on Telstra’s social media channel Facebook.

The Journey

IE produced the concept for the Easter ‘Shake Up’ Competition. While being interactive for the user, the competition asked participants to watch a video and note how many Easter eggs the dancing and ‘shaking’ bunny had.

The video and creative were driven by IE Agency and made mobile compatible for a user-friendly experience.

Solution

The push on Facebook was a success, with many new and ongoing customers engaging in the campaign. The key outcomes were:

  • 4,000 entries were made to the competition
  • 4,700 video views on YouTube for the campaign
  • Positive share-of-voice for YouTube comments – the song was well received
