Since 2010, IE Agency has been working across Simplot’s major in-house brands: Birdseye, Leggo’s, Lean Cuisine, John West and Edgell. The previously created mobile site for Birdseye was integrated into Simplot’s Sitecore Content Management System (CMS). For the Leggo’s mobile site, IE Agency was able to utilise functionality.

Purpose

IE Agency was asked to design, develop and integrate the Leggo’s mobile site into the Sitecore platform. Focusing on:

  • Re-skinning the Birdseye template to fit the Leggo’s brand.
  • Provide a mobile-first solution focusing on the users needs.
  • Engage existing and new users through a new touchpoint and platform.

The Journey

The project phase only allowed for a short time frame in architecting and development. As Simplot were planning to execute a campaign, IE had to implement the build in a timely manner. By adapting past work to accommodate the brand, the solution serves users a similar experience to Birdseye mobile site, but with different content and design.

Solution

The mobile site has engaged with new users since launching, giving Simplot access to new customers through the Sitecore Digital Marketing System (DMS).

  • Increase to half user access on mobile
  • New visitors increased to 73% on mobile
  • The average mobile visit duration increased to 1.45min from 1.02min
