IE Agency Launches Demandware

platform partnership with one of

the largest certified teams in APAC

IE Agency is excited to announce its new partnership with Demandware, an enterprise level e-commerce platform provider. This past week, IE has hosted training in its offices to kick-start the partnership. The agency now has one of the largest teams of Demandware developers in the APAC region.

IE is renowned for being a leader in retail innovation and e-commerce implementation; so, through the agency’s exponential growth over the past two years, Demandware was the obvious fit in its expansion plans to offer new platforms.

Demandware leverages disruptive cloud technology to bridge the gap between two realities: consumers and their escalating expectations. Demandware enables retail brands to engage consumers in unique and exceptional ways. They empower clients to innovate at whatever speed, and in whatever direction, they imagine.

With IE moving to a purely agile run delivery model, the lean and iterative nature of the Demandware platform makes the partnership ideal. IE & Demandware will be working together over the coming years so that clients can grow with their combined expertise.

The design-led thinking of the agency marries with the Demandware practice of “a better customer experience.” IE continually aims to redefine best-practice innovation by bringing an optimal user-experience to its clients’ customers. Going hand-in-hand with this, the Demandware platform provides seamless back-end updates to the software so retailers always have the most current releases operating.

Rhys Hayes, co-founder of IE Agency, said of this exciting new change, “We’ve had our eyes on the Demandware software for sometime, and with their recent expansion in the Australian market place it seemed like the timing was right,” he says.

“The Demandware model is nearly intrinsically the same as IE’s business objectives, with customers being at the forefront of our processes and methodologies. We’re planning to work together to create best-practice retail experiences across Australia, online.”

Marc Gagne, Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan from Demandware said of the new Australian Partner, “We have seen an increase in iconic Australian brands delivering amazing consumer experience online. Adding a fantastic company like IE Agency to our stable of industry leading partners will provide more digital opportunities for many more Australian brands.”

IE Agency is currently working with the following retail clients to help them grow online: Telstra, Nike, Movember, sass & bide, Sussan Group (Sportsgirl & Sussan), Captain’s Choice, Simplot Australia & New Zealand, Tourism Victoria, Nobody Denim, Mecca Cosmetica & Drummond Golf.
